Minimum number of points | 3 |
Maximum number of points | 9 |
With the quota rule, the distribution of points depends on the prediction behaviour within the prediction community. Predictions on outsiders receive more points than predictions on favourites.
The quota rule is displayed in the form: "Home-Draw-Guest". The values show how many points you get for a prediction that tends to be correct. With a quota of "3-6-9", you would receive 3 points if you correctly predicted a home win, 6 points for a draw and 9 points for an away win.
The actual points for a particular tendency is calculated as follows:
MIN | Minimum score |
MAX | Maximum score |
N | Number of predictions |
T | Number of predictions with tendency |
Points | MAX / (10 × T/N) - MAX/10 + MIN |
The value is rounded and limited to the specified interval.
25 players have submitted a prediction (N), of which only 5 predicted a home win (T). The points for a home win are calculated as follows
Points | = 9 / (10 × 5/25) - 9/10 + 3 |
= 9/2 - 9/10 + 3 | |
= 7 |
The result has been rounded and capped, see note no. 1
