In prediction games where there are prizes to be won, it can be a good idea to limit predicting in advance. Otherwise, there may be players who predict through everything once at the start and then just wait to see if they have won anything. This means they are not an active part of the community.
To prevent this, there is a setting for this in the "Game rules" menu in the admin area:
Predicting is then blocked for matches that are, for example, 14 days in the future.
You should be generous with this setting so as not to prevent legitimate predictions being submitted in advance due to holidays or other reasons.
